The census used the old addressing system so you need to cross reference it with 1929 information. The Milwaukee Public Library - Frank P. Zeidler Humanities Room of the Central Library - has copies of the 1929 Milwaukee City Directory, as well as other aids to assist you with the conversion from the previous street names and numbering systems to the ones in use after the change was made in 1930. They also have the microfilm of the 1930 Census for Milwaukee, WI available for your research.
