Beginners Class 2013 - 2014

Are you interested in starting to research your family tree?
Have you started, but aren't making as much progress as you'd like?
Milwaukee County Genealogical Society can help
with FREE Beginner Genealogy Classes.

The classes are free, however, a $10.00 fee will be charged to cover the cost of printing class handouts which contain information and forms used in the class, and to assist you in your research. Classes meet once a month from September until June between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
Starting Saturday September 28, 2013, at Milwaukee Public Library Downtown, 814 W. Wisconsin Avenue, with convenvient on and off street parking. MCGS Classes are held in Meeting Room 1 near the main entrance of the Milwaukee Public Library. This room is located right next to the elevator (from the lower floor which is handicap accessable right off of 8th Street).

Bookstore Volunteers Needed

The MCGS Bookstore is also looking for volunteers to help with sales at the monthly Friday General Meetings and Saturday Genealogy Classes. Contact Doris Durdan, (262) 251-1380, if you are interested in helping.

Note: If the Milwaukee Public Schools close due to inclement weather, MCGS classes will also be cancelled.
