General Information: The Township of Granville was a 36 square mile portion of land located in the northwestern section of Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. Miriam Bird includes references to family members and residents located in the Town of Milwaukee to the south, and nearby parts of Ozaukee, Washington and Waukesha counties. Records searched include deeds, census records from 1850 thru 1870, along with birth, death, marriage, wills, cemetery records and city directory information. Including more than just names and dates, the author cites contributions from some of the descendants of these settlers making these books excellent research material and great reading!

1800 Village of Bay View and Incorporation Signers (Milwaukee County, Wisconsin) Compiled by Bessie Rauchfuss Turney.

Contains 600 surnames and approximately 3,000 individuals, including the signers of Bayview's incorporation in 1879 and their listings in the census of 1880. Bayview was incorporated into Milwaukee in 1887. 64 pages with index. Originally priced at $6.50 now specially priced - $5.00 which includes sales tax.

Earliest record from 1731. Mainly Duchess County, NY. This is an index of the microfilm of the Reverend Vosburg Collection available on microfilm at the Milwaukee Public Library. 19 pages.
