- MCGS is a diverse community of genealogists.
- If you are interested in volunteering in any capacity, please send your contact information and a short bio to: info@milwaukeegenealogy.org
- Attend a general meeting or board meeting, to explore volunteer opportunities available.
- Work on a committee.
- Volunteer at a Festival booth, Ask a Genealogist session, or Biennial Conference.
- Be a Board Member, or attend meetings to offer suggestions.
- Please volunteer today, and help us continue the mission of MCGS to educate and support the genealogical community of Milwaukee County.

- TECHNICAL COORDINATOR needed
- We are looking for someone to help provide a quality hybrid online experience for MCGS in person / zoom online Meetings. Meetings are held in the Milwaukee Central Public Library Rotary Club of Milwaukee Community Meeting Room.
- Technical assistance is needed:
- with the meeting room audio-visual connections. The meeting room's projection screen is connected to devices by wi-fi or cable.
- to help speakers display their computer screens either to zoom, OR simultaneously to both the projection screen and zoom.
- for zoom meetings including admiting attendees from the the waiting room, monitoring the chat for issues/questions, muting attendees if needed, and recording sessions.
